Rainshine
Lake Superior
Talk about unsettled weather! Today brought a mix of heavy downpours and sunshine every 1.5 hours. Water temps sat at a cold 46°F, but perseverance paid off.
Put a few nice fish in the boat today, highlighted by a solid pike that crushed a jig fly. We also had great numbers of brook trout caught and released right at the boat.

Gear & Tackle Used:
Gear-wise, we threw a mix of everything today: spinners, spoons, crankbaits, flies, jig flies, and swimbaits. The swimbaits and jig flies definitely triggered the most action, but the bite was soft.
